Rules are the law. They're here to help you. Break them and you get broken. Simple. The code word is in here, so read them close.

o1. R E S P E C T. If you don't know what the word means, go look it up. Respect every member of the forum, whether they are staff or normal members. Respect guests when they come to post in the advertising board. If you do, we can keep this place running smoothly.

o2. This forum is for intermediate to advanced roleplayers. If you can't post at least 375 words in each post, then you don't want to be a part of this board. There is a word count visible when you are typing up a post, so you can check how long your posts are.

o3. Chat speak is a very bad thing. It isn't allowed on this board, in or out of character, EXCEPT in text messages and instant messaging.

o4. Always post in third person. No first person.

o5. This is a realistic roleplay, so when picking a celebrity to portray your character, make sure it is pretty much accurate when it comes to age and things like that.

o6. You MUST change your display name to your characters first and last name before I'll accept you.

o7. Be original when creating characters. No one is perfect. Everyone has their flaws. Make sure you mention them in your application.

o8. Yes. Cursing is allowed. Yes. Sex is allowed. Yes. Drugs are allowed. If you can't handle it, look else where. You CANNOT have any graphic sex scenes or anything of the sort because of proboards rules.

o9. Make sure you don't get into twelve different threads at once. I'm not assigning a limit, because you should be able to tell your limit if you really are an intermediate to advanced roleplayer.

1o. No fights on the boards between members. No exceptions. Doesn't matter the reason. Don't do it.

11. You need a new account for every character made. There will be no joint accounts.

12. You MUST have someone portraying your character.

13. A 100 x 100 avatar would be amazing. If you're going to make a banner for your signature, then make sure it doesn't stretch the page, please.

14. Broken Dreams and Torn Jeans expects a long term relationship out of you. The code word is sunsets never were so bright. Activity checks will be regular to make sure that you haven't abandoned the poor forum.

15. NO GODMODDING. The other members can't have fun if you're controlling their character.

16. If your character has sex, PM the admin to see the results. Make sure to mention if they used a condom or not, if the girls on birth control, anything that might influence the outcome.
