plot && other things you need to know « Thread Started on Feb 24, 2008, 5:51pm »
Hello, I'm your friendly neighborhood administrator, Tina! Thank you for considering joining Broken Dreams and Torn Jeans. Before you even look at the plot, you need to know that this is an intermediate to advanced roleplay. Basically, if you haven't been roleplaying for a long time, or this is your first time, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're thinking "Well, I might be, but I'm not sure," you can check the rules for more detail about what intermediate to advanced roleplaying would be.
The second thing you need to know is that I really hate when people join a board and then just leave without really giving it a chance. That drives me insane, so I'm not going to tolerate it. Yes, I understand if you are grounded or are going away or your computer had a meltdown. That's fine, it happens. But please don't join if you plan on forgetting about us two weeks from now.
So, basically, if you're good about length in your posts and you're willing to form a long term relationship with a forum, this is the place for you.
Now, if you think that you can work with the two points stated above, let's take a look at that plot, shall we?
Miami, Florida. Beautiful beaches, amazing nightlife, beautiful people, and perfect weather. It almost seems flawless, but take a closer look and you'll realize that nothing is perfect here. Things are getting shaken up in Miami, and you should consider yourself lucky if you're not a part of it.
This is the place that has everything you want and more, but you should know better by now. There's always something going on here. Something never fails to happen to shake things up when just when you think living here might actually be normal for a while. Nothing about Miami is normal, though.
Welcome to Miami, we're glad to have you. Make yourself comfortable. You're in for one crazy ride.
